So i’m in the group chat with some of my camp ‘friends.’
I got into an argument with this one guy I always get irritated at and so this morning someone else posted and told me I shouldn’t be so selfish and I should be more open minded to other people’s opinions.

You know what the arguments are about? He gets offended at the drop of a hat. He talks shit about white people and yeah I understand that some white people are horrible, but he always talks about shit that went down how many years ago and gets mad when we don’t really acknowledge it, because really- what am I supposed to say? What am I supposed to do about something that happened hundreds of years ago?

But also, he doesn’t like feminism. He calls himself an 'anti-feminist’ or he’s for the 'men’s rights movement.’ Okay, whatever dude. The only reason he’s like this is because I was talking about feminism stuff to my two friends that are girls, and he happened to be there. I wasn’t pushing it on him, I wasn’t even talking to him but then he butted in and was all 'Oh I don’t like that. that’s not true, that doesn’t happen’ etc etc. And then he tries to argue about it but he doesn’t have any facts to back up his argument, when I have loads. And for the short time I followed him on tumblr, once he saw me reblogging some feminist stuff, he reblogged anti-feminist stuff. Except the stuff he reblogs is totally dumb. I saw this one post where some boy got raped and the caption was 'this is why he needs feminism!’ but another one was about a girl who can’t need feminism? Like okay, so apparently guys can need feminism, but girls can’t? Dude you're the reason we need feminism if you’re gonna be like that.
Like, maybe this wouldn’t bother me so much if he didn’t go around starting arguments? Because i’m pretty sure you can refrain from saying stuff like “It’s more heated in here than a feminism argument with Krynn” if you think it’ll be offensive. (He said that just because he heard me talking about feminism once, this was before any arguments) But oh no. His specialty is saying rude things like that, getting mad if you get offended and saying he was 'just kidding calm down’ but he can’t take a joke AT ALL himself. (Yes, I can take jokes. I just don’t appreciate when they’re aimed at me with the intention of being hurtful/rude)

But last night he was talking about how people stick with their own opinions 'and then we die.’ Hmm. Well last time I looked, he’s the one who refuses to even listen to anything I say if he doesn’t agree. When people don’t agree with him, he says stuff like 'I feel like we need to work out our differences’ and he gets pissed when people don’t have the same opinion as him. 

Call me a bitch, whatever, but DO NOT call me selfish and say I need to be more open-minded, because I am definitely am open-minded. I just don’t agree with bad opinions. So sue me.
